I recently retired from 40 years in book publishing and needed to figure out where my life was headed next. I had some vague ideas, but not the slightest idea how to act on them, nor did I have any real understanding of where my life needed to go. Dr. Blair’s coaching methods and insights helped me narrow down my options to those that really made sense, and then gave me the tools to investigate those options. There were some pretty amazing revelations about how I wanted to move on with my life – for example, with her guidance, I realized that many of the organizations I had thought of volunteering for would actually have worked on my negative feelings instead of uplifting me. With her help, I was able to find a meaningful, positive outlet for my energy and enthusiasm. For anyone who is ready to move into a new stage of life but not quite sure how to do it, this is definitely the first step! I cannot recommend her work highly enough.<\/p>\n

In the past year, I have had the opportunity to participate in several skill-building courses offered by ITRE and taught by Ginny Blair. The courses were very innovative and educational. The courses taught by Ginny allowed me, for the first time, to interact with other Transit Managers and learn more about how other Transit System ran. Most importantly, Ginny was able to help me develop a better set of skills to deal with issues I previously had no guidance on. I was “Showing n Telling” about how I incorporated what I’ve learned from previous and the current\u00a0class, “Budgeting as a Planning Tool”.\u00a0 The webinars were really helpful (by suggesting that I) include visuals, which is what I did for our Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) Meeting held August 13, 2013.\u00a0 We had 2 new attendees and when I asked a regular attendee what he knew of our system, he really didn\u2019t know.\u2026 This provided additional conversation topics in the meeting as well.\u00a0\u00a0…\u00a0 Thanks to you both for the courses! <\/em><\/em><\/p>\n
